An Investigation into the Validity of Joshua David MullinsThe investigation was carried out by Matthew Robinson and Alex George.

Hypothesis: All or partial information given by Joshua David Mullins, to employees and shareholders in the businesses operated by himself, is false.

Aim: During the investigation, we aim to obtain the identity of Joshua David Mullins to prove or disprove the hypothesis.

Inquiry A: Employer Information

The investigation began with the information presented in Exhibit A. This showed the address for the employer to be “140 Mitchell Street”. The specific details were cross referenced to be existing address locations and, after consulting Google Maps, the location was found to be pictured.

After reviewing the images from Google Maps shown in Exhibit B, it appears that the address is no longer occupied. This would suggest that the address has been used by Slayde Entertainment as a placement for business operations that does not achieve the true validity claimed in the agreement.

Inquiry B: Registered Domain

The domain “slaydenetworks.us” is registered under the name of Joshua Mullins. A WHOIS inquiry gave access to the information about the domain. We found that the phone number listed was not valid, shown in Exhibit C. This finding has been reported to the registrar, GoDaddy.

Inquiry C: Titan Global Holdings Inc.

Joshua Mullins often discussed matters regarding his alleged mother’s business. The claims stated that the business operated by his mother operated under the name of “Titan Global Holdings Inc.”. During the enquiry into the business, many internet sources were cross-referenced to avoid businesses with similar names being investigated instead; this would have produced invalid research.

Titan Global Holdings is listed in Google Finance under it’s company section. This shows that the last operation of the business took place on 13 May 2014, suggesting that the business is inactive. This is shown in Exhibit D.

The findings produced by Google Finance are replicated on other company listing sites and have the same business statistics. This cross-referencing both confirms the validity of the sources and shows the inactivity of the business. hotStocked.com is shown in Exhibit E.

Furthermore, Exhibit E provides more detail surrounding the business.

Exhibit E shows the “Key executives” of Titan Global Holdings. Despite Joshua’s claims that his mother’s name is “Barbra”, the list does not include any person named accordingly. Exhibit E also provides a link to the website for Titan Global Holdings, is shown in Exhibit F and further suggests inactivity of the business. This implies that the business is only setup as a placeholder or the parties affiliated with Joshua Mullins have taken advantage of the closure of a business.
