HISTORICAL BACKGROUND 

  Selcom was closed down in 2004, because of a decission of the mother company LMI Technolgies. The employees moved to KOINS

  KOINS was founded in 1997 to serve the increasing demands in the Asian Foundry Market. In 2004, KOINS successfully branched out to the American and European markets by establishing KOINS Corporation and KOINS R&D. KOINS employed the expertise and experience of the LaserPour® staff, responsible for supplying and servicing over 400 pouring systems worldwide.

  Today KOINS is located in China and South Korea.

  Since 1st July 2011 the European organization became independent and is working from Gothenburg / Sweden as pour-tech AB.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN POUR‐TECH AB AND KOINS CO. LTD. 

  KOINS Co. Ltd. is owner of the pourTECH control system and agreed to pour-tech AB by signing a contract to use the key technology like Sensors and stopper actuator.

  pour-tech AB is doing the software development for KOINS Co. Ltd (Asian market) and Viking Technolgies (American market).

  pour-tech AB is fully responsible for the mechanical and electrical design for the European market.

  pour-tech AB give support to KOINS Co. Ltd. and Viking Technologies
