Janice Brown, a teacher at the Children’s Center for 35 years, retired at the

end of January. There was plenty of food, fond memo-ries, testimony, and laughs. Janice was a fixture at the Center and will be missed by many. Thanks, Janice, for loving our children!

Pictured at Janice Brown’s retirement party are long-time Children’s Center employees (bottom row, l-r) Janice Brown and Angela Gary, and (top row, l-r) Carrie Jones, Deborah Urquhart, Rosalind Cutchins, and Janet Owen.

For as little as $10, you can donate to the Children’s Center by going to https://www.givelocal757.org/donate?campaign_id=61915. All donations are tax deduct-ible and will be applied directly to Children’s Center programs. The Children’s Center has a goal of $1,500 and 50 donors. You can be a part of history and support children in Western Tidewater. Thanks for your support!
