It is always a pleasure working to provide my shop customers and others with up to date information and reviews of available pet and retile products currently on the market in the UK. Here are just a few of the toys and types of dog toys on the market. Ball launchers are great fun when out walking to exercise your dog without wearing yourself out. You are probably familiar with the standard type ball launcher consisting of a flexible handle with a cup on the end to hold the ball, but now other catapult type launchers are available that take even less effort to fling your dogs ball a long way. There is also a dog ball Kannon available that shoots the ball out of a barrel using a plunger that is held under tension with an elastic strap. Soft dog toys are a great favourite but best used indoors under supervision, especially with strong chewers that are likely to destroy the toy rather than mother it. Available in many shapes and sizes from realistic plush bird shapes to some weird and wonderful, colourful designs. Many soft toys also contain squeakers or other noisemakers in them and these should always be used under close supervision to avoid the small parts within being eaten. Nylabones are another great indoor toy especially useful if you want to keep your dog occupied while you are away, they come in various sizes, shapes and strengths to suit all breeds of dog. Rubber and vinyl toys are another traditional item used mainly indoors and again your dog should be supervised particularly with vinyl toys that are easily torn open. Latex is a better material than vinyl although a bit more expensive it is much harder for a
