To celebrate the annual Tulip Time Festival, we head to our hotel accommodations for two nights in Holland, MI. This evening we enjoy an incredible dinner followed by a high-energy festival performance by New Odyssey. Outstanding arrangements of almost every musical style are performed by three ultra-talented guys on 30 different instruments. New arrangements are always being added to create new surprises. D Day 2, Friday A Dutch-costumed guide boards our coach for a tour of Holland featuring its historic areas, city parks, Hope College, a view of the windmill, Tulip Lanes, and the downtown area. For lunch we enjoy a delightful brunch buffet of Dutch and American foods coupled with a one-hour show. The show features Ah!Men, four Western Michigan's strongest male vocalists who present The Great American Songbook. At Windmill Island Gardens we tour the famous Dutch Windmill and enjoy an Amsterdam Street Organ demonstration while strolling through the quaint shops that showcase Dutch culture. Our next Farm Wooden stop is Veldheer’s Tulip and the DeKlomp Shoe & Delft Factory. This evening, get ready for Fun, Fun, Fun as The Beach Boys take the stage. For five decades, the Boys have recorded and performed the music that has become the world's favorite soundtrack to summer. The Beach Boys are a beloved American institution. Sing to Surfin' USA, Barbara Ann, and Good Vibrations. B, L, D Day 3, Saturday Welkom! Nelis’ Dutch Village is a step back into the Netherlands of over 100 years ago complete with authentic architecture, flowering gardens, canals, and windmills.
