Protocol
Location:
Field trials were carried in the experimental field of the Institute of Agriculture -
Karnobat. The field is located on leached, moderately heavy sandy clay to moderate
clay resinous. The soil profile reaches 100-110 cm, and the power of the humus layer
(A) ranges from 60 to 70 cm. The mechanical structure at the root layer is heavy sandy
clay. General humus content in the 0-60 cm horizon ranges from 2.48% to 2.86%.
The location of the experimental field of the Karnobat Institute of Agriculture is in the
northern part of South-Eastern Bulgaria. Climatically, the area belongs to the
transitional continental climatic zone with fairly long and cold spring, dry and hot
summers, prolonged and relatively moist autumn, relatively snowless winter with large
temperature variations and wind erosion.
Protocol
Weeds identified in the plots:
• Amaranthus retroflexus L.
• Amaranthus blitoides L.
• Chenopodium album L.
• Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.
• Echinochloa crus-galli (L.) Beauv.
• Galinsoga parviflora Cav.
• Portulaca oleracea L.
• Setaria spp.
• Solanum nigrum L.
• Hordeum vulgare L.
Treatment Date: 25 September
Weather Conditions:
In the last ten days of September, average daily temperatures are in the range of 15.2 to 21.1°C.
On 24 September there fell 16.4 liters of rain per m2.
On 29 September - 14.0 l/m2.
Rainfall in October, l/m2:

Weather conditions were favourable for the growth and development of weeds.
Protocol
Randomised Block Design:
Total area of expertise (preparation, control, standard) all doses and repetitions - 700 m2
Area of treated fields (all fields that were treated with the compositions - one or more
repetitions fields): 1.25 x 10 = 12.5 m2 in quadruplicate.
Area of an option - 50 m2
Scheme experience - block method available options – randomised.
Products were applied in 200 L/ha of water.

Comments
Heavy rain occurred 10 days after treatment by which time it appears all
products had been absorbed into the crop. No further assessments were
made until 21 days after application due to the weather conditions.

On Annual Weed Control:
On the 7th day of the treatment, in embodiments treated with a higher
dose and adjuvant AMS-01, symptoms of phytotoxicity were pronounced.
Our recommendations on the basis of observations from experience - after
10 days in areas infested with annual weeds, in co-treatment with
herbicides and adjuvant AMS-01, even in low doses, can be made
treatments to prepare the area for the next crops.

coordinator of the trials:
On Perennial Weed Control:
On the 7th day of the treatment there is already clear phytotoxicity in the form of
chlorosis and necrosis on the leaves, even at lower doses of herbicides. On the 10th
day of the treatment the symptoms cover almost the entire plant.
In visual observations of accounting for phytotoxicity, we had the impression that the
treatment with Glyphosate 360 SL together with adjuvant AMS-01 at a lower dose (400 ml/dka)
exhibits better efficacy compared to the application of Glyphosate 360 SL alone at higher
rates.
Our recommendations on the basis of observations from experience - after 21 days in co-
treatment with herbicides and adjuvant AMS-01, even in low doses, in areas infested with
perennial weeds can be made treatments to prepare the area for the next crops.
