Why drip lines
• There is uniform distribution of water. • Saves water i.e there is no wastage of water since
water goes directly to the root which is the mouth of the crop.
• Used for fertigation • Moisture within the root zone is maintained. • No wetting of the foliage. • Soil erosion is lessened. • Weed growth is lessened. • Labour cost is less compared to other methods of
