Approximately 130 students, staff, and special guests of American Scholar celebrated Thanksgiving with a sumptuous meal on Friday evening, November 14th, 2014. Thanksgiving Dinner, with all the trimmings, including turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, corn, green bean casserole, sweet potato soufflé, salad, pumpkin soup, and Carol’s famous Pumpkin Pie for dessert tantalized the taste buds of all in attendance! The gathering was magnificently entertained by the following ASG student musicians: Carl Xuzhi Tang playing his violin, Ander Xinwei Wang also playing the violin, and Jack Zhehan Xu playing the electronic piano.

Six ASG students celebrated their November birthdays with a Thanksgiving birthday cake: Wisdom Jiajun Zhong, Jackson Yitian Yuan, Usher Chen Xue, Phoenix Yihan Wang, Rex Rance Yan, and Mark Minxiang Zheng.

The ASG Traveling Scholarship Trophy was awarded to the students of Stonewall House for achieving the highest Grade Point Average during the First Quarter Grading Period of the 2014-15 academic year. Congratulations to these students for their great work and dedication to their studies!
