NEWPORT MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTMCT AMENDED NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING Notice is hereby given to all interested members of the public that the Board of Directors of the captioned district will hold a public meeting at 16703 Golf Club Drive, Crosby, Harris County, Texas. The meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 19,2018. The subject of the meeting is to consider and act on the following: 1. Accept Resignation of Director 2. Order Appointing Director; Approve Qualifications, Statement of Appointed Officer, and Oath of Office; Questionnaire Regarding Potential Conflicts of Interest and Memorandum Regarding Completion of Public Information AcVOpen Meetings Act Training 3. Engineer's Report; maintenance, repair and design of facilities; advertisement for bids; construction contract(s); pay estimates(s) and change order(s); permit matters; proposals; easements; requests for utility capacity 4. Operations and Billing and Collections Report; maintenance and repair of District facilities; inflow/infiltration repairs; water well permit; waste discharge permit; customer appeals or inquiries regarding utility service or billing; termination of service on delinquent accounts; garbage contractor reports 5. Parks and Recreational Facilities; open space master plan, design and development, construction, operation and repairs; special events and reservations; security of facilities; neighborhood crime watch 6. Replacement of Dunes Lift Station 7. Lightning Rods and Surge Protection 8. Installation of S ecurity Cameras 9. Groundwater Reduction Contracts 10.
