Amazing Race Mechanics

Hi, Teams! Here are the mechanics for tomorrow’s AMAZING RACE: 1. The race is composed of five stations where each team will solve accounting problem(s) of different levels of difficulty. Each group will have an assigned checker or marshal who will check the answers of the group. 2. At the start of the race, each team will have two players to solve the problem(s) in Station 1. In stations 2-5, there will be one player for each team. The assigned member of each team in every station is tasked to solve the problem(s). 3. The key to proceed to the next station is the correct answers to the problem(s) in the current station. The assigned member shall present the answers to the assigned checker. Box the final answers. 4. If the team gets the correct answer, the assigned checker shall give the question for the next station. The member(s) on that station will now go to the next station and give the problem(s) to the assigned member. They are not allowed to use calculators, pen and paper and can only give instructions to the assigned member. For example, say A and B got the correct answer in Station 1, then they can help the assigned member (C) in Station 2. If they got the correct answer in station 2, A, B, C will proceed to the next station to help player D. 5. If any of the members of each team violates the mechanics of the game, a penalty time will be added to their pre-penalty time. For every violation, 1 minute will be added to their pre-penalty time. *For teams with seven members, the 7th member will be assigned to help in the last station only. 6. The team with the fastest time will be declared as the winner of this race.

To shorten assembly time, kindly submit the list of assigned players to each station. Just a tip, be wise on choosing your player(s) in each station and consider how the other teams form their lineup.

Goodluck! And see you in Room 302!
