What is Title One?
• Federally funded program• Designed to ensure success of all
students• Focus on core curriculum• Funding used for support staff and
materials
How do students qualify for Title 1 Math Services?
Students are identified for Math Service in the following ways:
● Students take the easycbm assessment test 3 times per
year.
● Students below the 40th National Percentile are considered
to be identified
● Point values are assigned by grades
● Point values can be determined based on if a student is in
the Intensive category, which is a score of 0-19 on the
National Percentile, or in the Strategic category, which is a
score of 20-39 on the National Percentile
● Teacher or Parent Request into the Program

How are students serviced in Math Title I program?
Services vary for grades
• Kindergarten
• Kanai and Dye: I co-teach their entire lesson.
• Beringer: Pull out 20 minutes per day at least 2 times per week or more
• First Grade
• Daily pull-out for 20 minutes per day
• IXL one 20 minute recess per week
• Push in to classrooms during lesson 1 time per week.
• Second Grade
• Daily pull-out for 20 minutes per day
• IXL one 20 minute recess per week
• Push in to classrooms during lesson 1 time per week.
• Third Grade
• IXL one 15 minute recess per week
• TA pushes into classroom daily during entire lesson time
• Fourth Grade
• IXL one 15 minute recess per week
• TA pushes into classroom daily during entire lesson time
• Fifth Grade
• IXL one 15 minute recess per week
• Rotate to each 5th grade classroom on Friday’s to teach/co-teach lesson
How do students qualify for Title I
Reading services?
•Teacher input •DIBELS
–Progress monitored (approximately weekly or 2x monthly)
•DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment) –Progress Monitored (approximately 1X monthly)
•MLPP•Report cards•MEAP•Classroom performance
–This is a fluid program and we strive to ‘exit’ your student once test scores and classroom performance indicate success

•Basic reading skills such as–Book Concepts–Letter and sound identification–Print tracking–Reading strategies–Demonstrating signs of a good reader–Materials used include
•Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI)•Teacher Directed K-PALS•Road to the Code•Sound Partners•Interactive Board/IPads

Students work on the following skills:• Sight words• Decoding skills• Fluency• Comprehension• Active reading• Materials Used:
– Leveled Literacy Intervention– Road to Reading– Read Naturally– Phonics for Reading
Second Grade
Students work on the following skills:(third grade RTI/ fourth-fifth grade push-in with teacher)• Sight words• Decoding skills• Fluency• Comprehension• Active reading• Materials Used:
