The format for the search is DNA + the city code.

Content Availability How to access it The air and train content is available at all Amadeus points of sale: Selling Platform Classic, Connect and Webservices. No configuration is required for activation in order to access this content, that is, it is possible to obtain it through any ID Office.

To access it, you need to run a neutral airline availability request including the route with the destination and airline representing the multimodality agreement.

In the examples, the airline availabilities were requested for the routes GRU-XQA and MEX-ZLN, where XQA and ZLN represent the IATA codes of train stations, Seville and Le Manes. As a result, it is possible to identify the segments of code-share 4R: IB and 2C: AF from the agreements between RENFE and Iberia; SNCF and Air France.

Availability search without railway or bus station code

It’s possible to search for multimodal segment without the railway or bus station code, simply by searching for the IATA airport or city code and among the results, display the availability of shared code between airline and railway or bus.

In the availability search of the segment GIG-VLL, VLL stands for the IATA city code for Valladolid, whose display among the result options: 5I: IB (between Alsa and Iberia) in the segment MAD-XJN and XJN is the bus station code and 4R: IB (Renfe con Iberia) in the segment XTI –XIV whose XIN is the railway station code.

Based on the multimodal segment, BUS and TRN are codes for the following means of transport:

TRS: High Speed Train

TRN: Train

BUS: Bus

Availability search with Master Price Expert Amadeus Multimodal also allows to search the availability and fares with Master Price Expert through the cryptic command (FXD)

In the availability search result, displays the flights with internal segments operated by train with the shared code between RENFE and Iberia (4R: IB) Multimodal booking process

Based on the airline availability search result, the segment sales process is similar to any other airline segment.
