About the speaker

Lora Epperly has been a

nurse for 37 years. She has

experience in Emergency

Nursing, Critical Care, First

Responder, Home Health,

Employee Health, Employee

Benefits, Workers Comp,

and Long Term Care. For

the last 11 years, she has

taught dementia care to employees of skilled

nursing centers throughout Virginia. On a personal

level, her father and aunt recently succumbed

to dementia. Lora is passionate about person

centered care and non-pharmacologic interventions

for those suffering from the ravages of dementia.

It is her goal to educate as many caregivers as

possible about the disease and the compassionate

care of those with dementia.

Who should attend?

Take the path to certification as a Certified

Dementia Practitioner. This is the required seminar

for those pursuing certification as a CDP and who

qualify for CDP. To see if you qualify, please

see the National Council of Certified Dementia

Practitioners at nccdp.org or just come to

the seminar!

Cost

• $100 per person and includes
