“Always Learning” is our brand tagline. We’ve retained it within our new brand identity not because it’s simply part of our heritage, but because it still works perfectly for us.

Short, bold, and memorable, “Always Learning” encapsulates our learners and ourselves. It highlights Pearson’s commitment to constantly be discovering, learning and improving ourselves. And it describes what we enable our learners to do–to keep learning, whenever, wherever and however it suits them, throughout every stage of their lives.

Our “Always Learning” tagline comes in black and white to provide flexible standout against a variety of image and color backgrounds. Use the one that delivers the best legibility and accessibility.

Here is some guidance on when and where to use our “Always Learning” tagline.

When to use it Use our tagline as a final sign-off to follow aspirational brand messaging, for instance, at the end of a manifesto poster or a brand animation. Use it thoughtfully and sparingly to help it retain its power.

Where to place itThe tagline should be placed after the logo and aspirational messaging, never before.

Our “Always Learning” tagline can be used in English. Other translations also exist in French, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, German, Simplified Chinese, Polish, and Afrikaans as well as ten other African languages.

Our tagline should not beused across every piece of communication. There are situations when it is not appropriate, and to help retain its power we need to use it carefully.

Here are some of the things to avoid when applying our tagline.

Learn as if you were to live forever.

Always Learning.

We believe in Always Learning, no matter who you are or where you are from, education is never out of reach.

Are you Christmas sweater ready?Wear your favorite christmas sweater this Friday to raise money for Save the Children

Don’t alter the tagline artwork color or place on background colors that do not pass accessibility.

Don’t recreate the Always Learning tagline using different typefaces. Use only the tagline asset.

Don’t place the tagline after copy that uses the same phrase.

Don’t create a lock-up with the Pearson logo and the tagline.

Don’t use it on everyday material with functional or instructional messages.

Don’t use it as an opening statement or before the Pearson logo.
