Wire Packaging has been changed withthe following features:-
1. New Contemporary graphics2. METPET carton to reduce duplicacy
3. Coil made compact for best fitment with the inners.4. Reduced dimensions of inners to reduce gaps after packing the
coils5. Reduced no of inners / outer carton to facilitate better handling
due to lower gross weight
6. Packing mode of inner cartons inside the outer carton changedfrom vertical to horizontal for better stacking strength7. Mesh printing on the closing flap of outer carton to indicate
pilferages, if any.

Implementation status and further action plan
Commercial production and packing in new inner started on 18thNov with 1.00 sq.mm size and first dispatch planned for Kolkatabranch.
Factory to confirm plan for other skus. (Expected 2.50 sqmm endof this month & other variants by 1stweek of Dec11)
Mktg. has already informed sales / branches / dealers about thenew packaging configuration.
Packaging department to follow up with branches and dealersand circulate feedback / project closure report.
