Bill Supplee Remembers the Ambassador Choir
Ambassador Choir memories are flooding in! Iremember the time in 1968 when the choirprovided comfort to so many in Memphis thenight after the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther KingJr. was slain.
Then there was the time we were in Augustaand one of our soprano's father heard thatPresident Eisenhower was flying in the nextmorning. He got permission for us to set up our risers near where the planewould land so that we could sing for him. The president came over andshook our hands, telling us that 'A Mighty Fortress' was his favorite song!
My own favorite memories are when the choir worshipped our Lord as wesang. Thank you so much for all you put in to each aspect of our ministry. We look forward to seeing you at this year's reunion. Let the alumni officeknow if you would like to sing. To register, go towww.ciu.edu/homecoming08.
Rejoicing in Him!Bill Supplee
