SAP IT Calendar provides an overview of the planned Work Modes (e.g. Down times, peak Business Hours) for specific time interval (month, week, day) and systems selection

Month, Week and Day views are supported

Work Modes can be viewed for systems / technical systems

The following work modes scheduled in the Work Mode Management application can be viewed

Task Inbox

Task inbox provides central access to view, create and manage administrative tasks.

Functionality Two task views

Access to Tasks created in other SAP Solution Manager applications Central System Administration , Issue and Top Issue management, Downtime Management, Job Scheduling Management

Creation and processing of ad hoc, non-preconfigured Tasks which are created from Task Management itself, and not in any other SAP Solution Manager application

Two types of Task views are supported

By Timing (Overdue, active, created on and completed)

By Application

Technical Reporting can be used:

to get an aggregated Overview of system behavior over time

to visualize trends in various categories

to provide KPIs for stakeholders of IT departments (prerequisites for SLRs)

for real time monitoring of current compliance of agreed service levels

to observe and adjust alert thresholds

to monitor systems and applications

to monitor and adjust capacity of systems, hosts and databases

for optimization of internal processes and setups of IT department (e.g. alert reporting, unused RFC destinations)
