Application Summary• MatrixRay is a pay per use DICOM/HL7 application that solves many network issues for sharing

of images and patient information across disparate networks along the continuum of care.

Anticipated benefits/value• Our software is currently solving image distribution problems in more than 600 hospitals including

32 of the top 50 medical centers (UPENN, UPMC, NY Presbyterian, Cleveland Clinic, Shriners,

Cedars-Sinai, Harvard, Cornell, Northwestern, etc.) Now that we have added the capability of

delivering complete patient profiles along with images, the benefits are tremendous cost savings,

faster access to proper care, better clinical support in decision making, avoidance of unnecessary

re-scans, and ultimately better outcomes.

• This capability has been in demand for some time in the imaging sector. Bridging a massive gap

between the delivery of images along with detailed patient information is a long overdue

process. This will benefit all stakeholders in healthcare from patients, to providers to payors.

User Interface• MatrixRay has a very user friendly interface to perform high level functions with a few clicks.

nodes as put into the system

including Allscripts EMR/EHR to

build patient profile.

Profile may be sent through

exchange service to patient or

other facility with or without

images.

requirements for Item #2 Once a request is in, it is processed

and built into an XSLT format to be

viewed in any browser. The

structure is XDS 2 and 3 for

compliance with other EMR

systems.


Patient Profile

All patient information including CCD is easy to read,

understand and save.


Robust Image Viewer

Application includes DICOM image

viewer to see images and

compare to what is in the report.

Images can be saved as jpegs,

saved to the computer, burned

onto a disc or sent to a doctor or

institution directly from the app.


Send Information

Sending information to patients or

doctors is easy. Click the Exchange

Button to open of the send to

database, choose destination and

click Next.


Development Timeframes• We have integrated the Allscripts APIs into our HL7 module for the MatrixRay application.

• MatrixRay is fully functional and is out in the marketplace.

• We need an Allscripts test site to test full functionality.

• We are continually upgrading our software and adding features to make it easier to use.

• We will be adding more patient-centric features in the coming months.

Go to market plan• Our application is free for any patient or professional that registers on line. They become part of

the MatrixRay network to exchange data easily, quickly, compliantly and the most secure method

possible.

• We are currently updating more than 600 installs around the US and have localized the software

in 14 languages for worldwide expansion.

• Nautilus is adding more salespeople to build upon this network to reach patients, professionals

and the massively underserved market of independent and small practitioners.
