CLASS DESCRIPTIONS: FOXTROTis great for dancing to big band, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, and jazz music. It includes smooth gliding steps with a heel lead, and controlled movement in an easy-going style. There is less rise and fall than the Waltz, as the emphasis is on progression. The Foxtrot is an all-purpose dance that can be performed to many different styles of music.

SSALSA is a truly great, Latin style club dance—one that is fun, accessible, sexy, sociable, and constantly evolving. It is an amalgamation of Cuban dances that were popular in the ballrooms and nightclubs of Havana by the end of the 1950’s, as well as American jazz dances.

ABOUT MICHELEMichele is a DVIDA Certified Ballroom Instructor with over 20 years of experience as a dance teacher and professional. She teaches everything from Ballroom to Ballet, and loves sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for dance with her students.
