Kaitin’s Advice Column

When you’re in school, do you have trouble making friends? Many people do! Sometimes, all it takes is just a little thinking. Ask yourself these questions:

1) What is my attitude toward others?2) Do I change my personality to fit in?3) How do I attempt to make friends?4) How can I improve my attempt? Think about how you answered the

questions. Usually, the source of the problem is when your approach toward others is not that great (no offense ). When you speak to others, always have a happy attitude (no frowny face or sad expressions)! When you come up to people, all mad and grumpy, they get the wrong impression, that you are not the kind type!

Occasionally, people change themselves to fit in. If you are one of those people, I’d recommend stopping! Most people don’t like others who change themselves to fit in.

Sometimes, it’s just the way you make friends! You should try to make friends by attending many parties, clubs, meetings, or maybe even start your own club! I hope all these tips work, and good luck making new friends!

Smiles = A better day, better friends, and a better life!

Chaos in the US Addicting games are really

entertaining, but most people don't know the story behind them. Games  can badly damage a student's education and more!  Think of this: it's Sunday night and you're playing this 'mind-blowing' game. The next day you're going to school and all you can think of is coming home and playing that game. You have a huge test tomorrow, but you didn't learn a thing, so you end up failing the test. Get the point? Technically speaking, it can also ruin your eyesight. Computers have radiation, so if you play on it for a long portion of time, it can damage your eyesight! Studies show that action games can cause children to injure themselves. They show eye-catching stunts, that children are provoked to try, and eventually get hurt!

Truly, games are only good for small entertainment, and kids shouldn't play them that often! Please regard our tips, and stay safe this break!

Wheel of Fortune Tellers Fortune tellers are an interesting

subject. Well, now you can learn more about them! Spin the wheel and go to the psychic you land on to read about them!

Uri Geller- A psychic who is known to be able to propose spoon bending tricks, along with other psychic effects, that relate to his fortune telling.

Edgar Cayce- He was a psychic who

was believed to have been able to use predictions (no background knowledge) to think of medical solutions, and helped heal people.

Sylvia Browne- She is a psychic who was supposedly a fortune teller, and was able to predict fortunes or current happenings, without actually researching. But, many news articles claim she was fake! She was accused of being a feud and a grand theft!

Jeanne Dixon- She was a world renowned fortune teller and was able to predict the future. She has

appeared on several TV shows, and has written numerous books.

John Edward- Another psychic

believed to be able to talk and hear from the dead.

Cooking with AmintaUnhappy that your parents aren’t

taking you out for pizza? Now, all of that will change! You can bake your OWN pizza and make it how you want

Ingredients:

• Pizza crust

• Pizza sauce

• Bite-size and shredded toppings

• Round or rectangular pans (optional)

• Pizza stone (optional)

Directions:1)Divide pizza dough into single-size

portions or take a whole pizza crust and designate a section for each person.

2)A better way to make a lot of individual pizzas: pat most of the dough into a large rectangle and make a grid pattern with strips of remaining dough. Fill the grids with the toppings of your choice. When the pizza is baked, use a pizza wheel or large knife to cut along the grid lines.

3)Make individual pizza pockets--or calzones--by spreading half a round of raw pizza dough with sauce and toppings, leaving a 1-inch border. Fold the other half over and seal the edges by pressing the dough together with a fork. Brush with olive oil and bake.

4)For a quick and easy pizza, start with pre-baked pizza crust or make your pizza dough ahead of time.
