PROJECT MANAGEMENTA CORE MESSAGE…
“To help organizations maximize their performance and achieve strategic goals.”
When tailored to “fit” to an organization’s culture, project management brings improved value by: Execution of strategy – through repeatable, reliable performance and
standardization
Integration within the organization – through elimination of “silos” and better communication and collaboration
The learning that a developing PM organization undergoes as it explores new products, processes and markets

Organization Maturity Levels
Jeff Busch PMP
Non-conformance costs (NCC’s) and their relationship with OPM maturity. Maturity scales are shown for both the CMMI-based levels and for OPM3® (SMCI stages). The “Target” is the planned project goal in terms of costs schedule, and scope. The curve represents the actual statistical performance of the organization in accomplishing these objectives. (Sopko, Strausser, 2010).
As PM maturity increases projects become more predictable, profitable.
Organizations with immature PM practices are unpredictable.
