CHARACTER SCHEDULE

Alice

Alice is a young girl who travels to a magical land far away from her home called Wonderland.

The White Rabbit

Alice follows the White Rabbit and she falls down a hole in the ground into Wonderland.

The White Rabbit is always late for something, and so he runs around a lot.

The Chesire Cat

The Cheshire Cat is a Wonderland character that can appear and disappear very fast.

The Cheshire Cat appears when Alice is lost or confused, and he tries to help her.

CHARACTER SCHEDULE

The Dutchess

The Dutchess is the queen’s cousin.

She likes to sing very loud music, and travels around Wonderland with her friend, the Cook.

The Cook

The Cook works as the cook for The Dutchess. She causes everyone to sneeze because she uses too much pepper.

Like the Dutchess, the Cook likes to sing.

The Queen of Hearts

The Queen of Hearts is the ruler of Wonderland, along with the King of Hearts.

When people do not follow her orders, she yells “Off with their heads!”

The Queen of Hearts is always mad.

CHARACTER SCHEDULE

The King of Hearts

The King of Hearts rules Wonderland with the Queen of Hearts.

He is married to the Queen of Hearts.

The Caterpillar

The Caterpillar is a very calm character. He speaks in riddles, and Alice cannot understand what he is saying.

The Caterpillar blows bubbles out of his pipe.

The actor who plays the Caterpillar also plays Humpty Dumpty later in the play.

The Mad Hatter

The Mad Hatter makes hats for the characters who live in Wonderland.

He tells riddles and is always excited to have tea time with his friends.

The March Hare

The March Hare is a friend of The Mad Hatter.

The March Hare and The Mad Hatter go to the same tea parties together.

The Dormouse

The Dormouse is a friend of the March Hare and the Mad Hatter.

The Dormouse is always falling asleep at tea parties with the Mad Hatter and the March Hare.

The actor who plays The Dormouse also plays one of the Queen’s Guards later in the play.

Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are twins from a nursery rhyme that Alice knows.

They both love to dance, and often fight over silly things.

The actors who play Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum also play the Queen’s Guards later in the play.

Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty is a character Alice knows from a nursery rhyme.

He is an egg that sits on the wall.

Humpty Dumpty is not afraid of falling.
