I am a professional with around fifteen years of work experience in leading capacities with national and international organizations coupled with a multidisciplinary education. My Experience is an impeccable combination of managerial, analytical and administrative abilities with command over government engagement, business development, monitoring and evaluation, policy design execution and strategic partnership development. For the last eight years with WWF- Network, I have been involved with high level strategy design and implementation work in the domain of Water Resource Management covering the aspects of environmental and social development, Disaster risk reduction, laws, policies, regulations, standards development , Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Energy efficiency and climate change adaptation . My expertise include project design and implementation, research, impact assessment, financial and technical reporting, resource mobilization, advocacy, communication strategy design and implementation, relationship building and management with international donors, UN agencies, International forums ( UN CEO Water Mandate, AWS etc) developmental organizations, national/local government authorities, bureaucracy, civil society, media, corporate entities ( Multinational Companies), academia and regulatory regimes. My professional experience is supplemented by a throughout distinction career in education comes in well together and equips me with all the necessary skills that are required for the work that I do.

Honors /Achievements:

Selected and completed the first Freshwater Development High Impact Team Training by WWF network in Surrey –UK

Recipient of National Energy Globe Award for 2015 conferred by UNESCO and UNEP ( United Nations Environment Programme) as the supervised project on Water management was judged as the best contribution from Pakistan ( 177 Countries submitted 1500 Projects)

Australian Alumni Excellence Award for 2015 for Governance and Community Development by Australian Government ( Conferred by Australian Ambassador )

Selected as one of the four professionals from Pakistan on Water resource management and governance in capacity of a State Guest of United States of America in 2013. Presented and deliberated issues relating to Social and economic uplift ( Water ,Food , and Energy ) to US State government departments in Washington (Including Senate) , Corporate Organizations and NGOs

Visited in 2011 the British Parliament and gave a presentation to House of Lords regarding issues of environment, its social repercussions and its linkages with the Water- Food-Energy Security nexus to the MPs and Lords as a representative of Pakistan in a policy team by WWF - Network

Core Team member of WWF- Water Stewardship group which coordinates WWF’s International (Based in Switzerland) network policies and implementation strategies as the focal person for WWF- Pakistan on issues relating to water policy, governance and feedback to international basin strategies

Working with International Forums like UN CEO Water Mandate and Alliance for Water Stewardship ( AWS- an International Consortium) , Water Footprint Network etc for setting up performance standards for efficiently using water at basin and fence level

Supporting and designing influencing strategies on policies relating to water, integrated river basin management, Disaster risk reduction and climate change. To fulfill this task, is working closely with international offices of WWF (Switzerland, UK, USA, Netherlands , Germany, South Africa, India, Turkey etc ) to see things in a globular perspective and implement it at a local level

Interact and work with International Donor/ Multilateral agencies such as, European Union, GIZ, IFC, World Bank, ILO, USAID, Asian Development Bank, , DFID, etc for project implementation on ground

Introduced the concept of proper implementation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per international standards.
