Alexander D. Thomson, MRICS Vice President, InvestmentsAs Vice President, Investments, Alex has three core responsibilities: working with the Executive on portfolio strategy and evaluation; acquisition of existing income-producing assets; and the successful development of Cameron’s non-retail commercial projects. Prior to joining Cameron, Alex held roles with large development and institutional asset management companies. During his career, Alex has been involved in companies. During his career, Alex has been involved in the acquisition, development or disposition of more than $2.5B of commercial real estate assets.

Alex is a member of the Corporate Board of NAIOP for North America and sits on the advisory committee to the University of Alberta’s real estate program. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has spoken regularly on commercial real estate at conferences across Canada.
