Join us on Wednesday, February 14 as we celebrate

Valentine's Day with our Children’s Choir! Following our

Wednesday night supper, our Children’s Choir will

present a special Valentine’s program entitled,

“We Walk with God in Love.”

Our children will sing, play instruments, demonstrate

sign language and share scripture. We hope you

will join us for this special time of

music and fellowship!

Sandy and I truly missed having our First Baptist family drop by our home during the

Christmas Season. It simply was not possible to make happen at that time in Sandy’s

recovery. So, we’d like to invite you to drop by our home on Sunday, March 18 from

four to six o’clock for a time of gratitude and celebration. We are so grateful to God

and to you for the many mercies we have received this past year. And, we want to

celebrate God’s goodness and healing with our First Baptist Family and some friends

from our community. Please mark your calendars and save the date!

Grow Together

In February we will have our first session of D-Groups. For 6 weeks we will go through the study Goliath

Must Fall. This will be on both Tuesday and Thursday nights. We will meet at a host home at 6:30 to go

through the study together. Start dates are February 20and 22.

We have great leaders who will be teaching these!

D-Groups will involve both discipleship and doing. For this first session, all groups will be involved in our

SERVE Day on Saturday, March 17th , where we all pitch in around Burlington for a greater impact in one

day. While we pray you grow deeper in your discipleship, we want our groups to grow deeper in their

serving God through connecting in our local needs.

Dinner With Neighbors

On Wednesday, February 21, we be hosting a community missions meal for our neigh-

bors. We will enjoy a soup dinner from 5:00 -6:30, and have a brief devotion from 6:30-7:00.

This is a great outreach opportunity. Come and help us make our neighbors feel welcomed

here at FBC!

World Missions Update!

Great news! We met and exceeded our

World Missions Goal! Our goal was $18,000

and we raised $19,455.00 Thank you for

your generosity!

Guatemala 2018

Are you interested in going to Guatemala this

summer? We will be traveling from July 21-

29th. Anyone is welcome to go on this mis-

sion trip and all abilities can be used.

To register, all that is needed is a $200 de-
