Sales of Ferrari sports cars in Bahrain havetrebled in the last three years.
The figures were announced as Ferrari
celebrated its 60th anniversary in Bahrain.‘
Euro Motors, the country’s sole Ferrari
distributor, revealed sales have increasedfrom six per year in 2003 to around 20 now.
The dealership sells the 430 and 360 models
along with the latest car, the 599.
Managing director Mr. Zayed Al Zayanirevealed there are more than 50 Ferrariowners in Bahrain.
He told the Gulf Daily News, that buyers3
often have to spend up to nine months on a
waiting list before being able to buy a Ferrari
due to its limited production capacityworldwide.
Prices start at BD70,000 and can reach2
BD90,000 and above, depending on the
specifications.
Bahrain became the latest stop on a globalrelay to celebrate the 60th anniversary ofFerrari.
The Ferrari 60 Relay involves company; officials carrying a specially created baton
around the world, visiting countries where5
