These identity guidelines have been developed to provide a consistent ‘look and feel’ by which our audiences will identify Al Gharbia Hospital.

These guidelines cover all the tools which, when used together, make us unique: our company signatures(logos), our English and Arabic typefaces, and our colour palettes. It also shows how to apply these elements to a selection of applications from stationery to collateral.

Using the brand identity guidelinesThe Al Gharbia Hosptials brand identity is the tangible expression of all that we stand for.It embodies what we do, how we do it and why we are a beacon of trust andsupport throughout the communities we serve. In a very real way, members of ourcommunities, our partners, and our satkeholders experience the Al Gharbia Hosptials brandthrough our deeds, as well as through the verbal and visual messages we send.A carefully managed and well-implemented brand identity program will helpcarry our brand message to the world. Brand Identity GuidelineLogo Rationale

Color Palette

The Al Gharbia Hospitals logo design encompasses many elements which together help to portray the caring and professional healthcare services offered by an Al Gharbia Hospital.

The fresh and bold Al Gharbia brand mark symbolizes the joining of two hands in unison which together form a ‘cup’ which can cradle, support and provide comfort.

The joining of hands symbolizes co-operation and unity of purpose as well as strength through mutual co-operation. The upwards facing ‘fingers’ from each hand are reaching towards the sky, symbolizing the ambition of striving to achieve higher levels of achievement in healthcare.

As a secondary design influence, the overarching shape of the brand mark also mimics the overall shape of fronds from the traditional date palm common in the region.

Al Gharbia Hospital logo is one of the company’ s most valuable assets. On specific elements use the logo can be used on several application.

The color palette is elemental in nature and has been drawn directly from the local environment in the Al Gharbia region, namely the brilliant blue sky, the azure seas, the golden desert sands and the warm yellows and reds of an Abu Dhabi sunset. The clean blue also represents and symbolizes both the medical fraternity and hospital services

COLOUR PATERNOur brand mark can be applied based on the following typography.

Colour provides powerful means of identification. Al Gharbia Hospital has its own rich colour palette. Primary Colour palette - The two primary Al Gharbia colours are blue and orange. After the logo, colours are the second most important elements used to identify Al Gharbia Hospital. In printed applications, the logo requires four-colour process lithography using the colour-separated digital artwork provided by Al Gharbia Hospital brand management. For Web site, specific browser-safe RGB colours are to be used. PANTONE® colours have also been provided for use when a match colour is appropriate.Special attention should always be given to accurately matching the Al Gharbia Hospital colours to the specific use.

We have two versions for our brand mark, with short spaces we shall use stacked version, and in horizantal spaces we shall use the normal version, in all cases our brand mark should be surrounded by clear space as shown, no other element is allowed in that safe area.

Placement on dark coloured backgrounds: to place the logo into dark backgrounds always ensure that they are highly visible at all times and that the colours chosen do not overcome those of the brand mark.

The logo must be posi-tioned in the top, left hand corner of the front cover. This means that when the leaflet or brochure is put in a leaflet dispenser or laid out on a table, the branding will be seen.

Main headline must be clear simple stan-dard font without any fancy effects (we pre-fer Myraid)
