BODYGUARD 2K-PU COATINGHighly resistant 2K polyurethane-acrylic paint system for scratch resistant, robust and black coating of truck bed surfaces (e. g. Pick-Up truck beds) and for all heavy duty surfaces on commercial vehicles, SUVÅLs, camping cars, trailers, also industrial and construction applications. Colour black.

Surface pretreatment:• Steel: clean with silicone remover, grind if necessary (remove rust, tinder, mill scale)

and degrease again with silicone removerPrimer required (Bodyguard Primer 50-70 μm dry fi lm thickness)

• Zinc: ammoniac wetting or sweeping,suitable primer recommended• Aluminum: clean with silicone remover, grind and degrease with silicone remover.

Primer required (Bodyguard primer 25-35 μm dry fi lm thickness)• Wood substrates: clean, grind and remove dust• Fiberglass reinforced plastic: clean, sand and degrease with silicone remover• intact, 2-component old coatings: clean, grind and degrease with silicone remover

Mixing-ratio-Application-Layer-thickness:750 ml kLine Bodyguard Comp. A in 1 Lt. can + 250 ml kLine Bodyguard Comp. B shake well for about 2minutes. Small quantities can be mixed in the ratio 3: 1 in a measuring-cup.Within the pot life use an UBS spray gun or a paint spray gun for applying a 250μm wet-layer Recommendedtotal thickness: 120-380μm dry = 250-750 μm wet (1-3Layers) Application of multi layer structure, sprinkle sand in the 2nd of three layers to achieve an anti slip surface.

Multi-layer construction :• 1st layer Bodyguard with appr. 120 μm dry fi lm thickness (5 minutes fl ash off time before the second layer)• 2nd layer Bodyguard with appr. 120 μm dry fi lm thickness

After drying this coating gives a very robust and resistant coating for surfaces subject to start.

If this coating is required as anti slip coating, the following additional steps are necessary:• Sprinkle sand in the wet 2nd layer, not completely covered that the third layer will connect with the second layer.• Apply a 3rd layer of Bodyguard appr. 120 μm covering the 2nd layer with the sand.

Fertility with 240μm dry-fi lm-thickness then approx. 1.6 m² / lt.Fertility with 1 liter sand then approx. 2.5 m² / lt.
