Color the paper plate green with pain or markers.

From construction paper, cut out shapes to be the frog’s legs, eyes, and tongue.

Fold the paper plate in half. Attach the eyes to the top, the tongue in the fold, and the legs on the outside.

Paper plates : construction paper : green paint or markers : safety scissors : tape or glue

1 Turn the bag upside down so that the bottom flap is facing you. This is the tiger’s face.

Decorate the face with eyes, nose, and whiskers in black made from construction paper.

Decorate the rest of the tiger with black and orange stripes using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Decorate the outside of the paper towel tube.

Secure a piece of plastic wrap or tissue paper over one of the tube’s openings tightly with rubber bands.

Pour a handful of beans down the open side of the tube. Secure the other open side of the tube with plastic wrap or tissue paper and a rubber band.

Shake the rain stick to hear the beans make a sound like the rain.

Write the numbers from 1 to 10 on the popsicle sticks. You can decorate the sticks with dots or shapes that correspond to the numbers. Put them in the counting bag.

Fill each bag with a generous amount of beads or pom-poms.

Pull a number stick out of the bag. Then count out that number in beads or pom-poms and place them on the stick.

Stack several sheets of different colored tissue paper together. Fold the stack accordion style the long way so you get a long rectangle of folded tissue paper.

Twist a pipe cleaner around the center of the stack.

Open the flower by pulling one sheet of tissue paper at a time toward the center. Fluff them up to make beautiful flower petals.

There’s something magical about planting a seed and watching it grow. What kinds of plants grow from seeds? Flowers, trees, vegetables, and more!

Trace your hand several times on green construction paper and cut out the green hand shapes.

Draw the shape of a tree trunk on the brown construction paper and cut out the tree trunk.

Glue the green hand shapes onto the tree trunk to be the tree’s leaves. In the fall, you can use orange, red, and yellow paper for the tree’s leaves.

Trace your hand on several pieces of construction paper, using different colors. Cut out the handprint shapes.

With the fi ngers pointing up, wrap one handprint around a pencil or pipe cleaner. Secure it with tape or glue. Curl the fingers of the hand outwards to make the lily petals.

Using ribbon, tie a bunch of handprint lilies together to make a bouquet.
