Our production company for our thriller opening is Patchwork productions which is a Uk based independent film production company. Patchwork productions in association with Bright Cold Day Films and Bandoola productions.

The role of the distribution company is to market the film. Also to identify a film’s target audience, by thinking of ways to promote the film.

•The distribution company for our thriller opening is The World film company. This is because our thriller is a low budget film with a small production company. This is similar to the film containment as there production companies were also independent, such as Bandoola Productions, Bright Cold Day Films,and Patchwork Productions

Our thriller would be marketed, by digital platforms, such as social media .For example a Facebook page to promote our thriller. This is cost effective as we do not need to pay for our promotion. As well as a film festival, which is similar to the movie containment. This film was shown at East end film festival .
