IATA Worldwide Scheduling Guidelines WSG 21st Edition
DEFINISI SLOT
• Suatu slot didefinisikan sebagai waktu kedatangan dan keberangkatan yang dialokasikan oleh, atau sebagai alokasi oleh suatu coordinator bagi suatu aircraft movement pada suatu specific date di Bandara yang dikoordinasikan. Untuk maksud penjadwalan, slot adalah waktu yang dijadwalkan untuk kedatangan dan keberangkatan di terminal, bukan waktu landing dan take off di runway. Untuk pengalokasian slot akan diperhitungkan semua parameter yang tersedia di Bandara, misal runway(s), taxiways, aircraft parking stands, gates, terminal capacity (e.g. check-in and baggage delivery), environmental constraints e.g. night restrictions, etc.
• Memuat aturan mengenai proses secara global yang diakui untuk alokasi slot dan pengaturannya, agar penggunaan Airport infrastructure yang terbatas dapat optimal.
• Menginformasikan kebijakan, prinsip dan proses yang dapat menunjang pengalokasian slot pada Airport yang congested.
