Securing wireless endpoints that connect to corporate networksand travel outside the office is more complex than ever. Hackers, malicious code and common end-user mistakes can place businesscommunications, critical infrastructure, and IT infrastructure at risk.WiVision™ Client, featuring AirSafe™ technology, protects wireless endpoints against known and unknown threats withoutinhibiting users or slowing performance.

Prevent Wireless Hacking

To prevent wireless hacking at its source, WiVision Clientautomatically turns off the wireless adapter whenever alaptop is connected to a wired network port. This addressesthe security deficiencies in standard Windows® XP and Vistawireless clients and prevents Wi-Phishing attacks that enablea hacker to bridge the connection between a wireless laptopand the corporate wired network.

Cellular Card and Modem Control

WiVision Client can also disable and enable your cellular cardor modem whenever it detects wired or wireless connections. When your cellular card or modem are active, WiVision Clientwill automatically disable your wireless adapter.

Control Connections with Location Aware

Using Location Aware, when a WiVision Client is within rangeof one of your corporate access points, it will only connect tothat access point - not to any unknown access points whichmay also be in range. This prevents your users from connect-ing to unknown outside access points whenever they are nearyour corporate wireless network.
