Over the past several years, there has been an increased demand for low losscoaxial cables due to the intensive utilization of frequency spectrum well up intothe microwave regions.All the cables that are presented in this brochure meet these requirements at avery competitive price.

AIRCOM® PLUS with its unique air cell dielectric has become one of the mostpopular multi-purpose coaxial cables since its introduction in 1989. A speciallydesigned honeycomb expander maintains the correct position of the center con-ductor while keeping the cable impedance constant even when it’s sharply bent.This high quality, semi-air spaced cable can be used for applications up into the10 GHz microwave region. Throughout its useable frequency range AIRCOM PLUSachieves a remarkable low loss despite its small diameter of 10.3 mm (0.4inches)

AIRCELL®7 is an extremely flexible coaxial cable with a surprisingly low losseven though its diameter is just 7.3mm (approx. 0.28 inch). Because of its 19strand copper center conductor, a bending radius as small as 25 mm (approx. 1inch) is allowed. This makes AIRCELL®7 ideal for small to intermediate distancesor where limited space does not allow the use of larger diameter cables.

The ECOFLEX® family of coaxial cables is the number 1 choice when it comesto flexibility, low loss and ease of use. IP 68 compliant solderless N-connectorsare available, thus allowing the manufacture of cable assemblies in minutes.ECOFLEX® cables are the European wide industrial standard for general com-munications use. Low loss coaxial cable for radio communications

AIRCOM PLUS® is a semi air spaced coa-xial cable with excellent electric and mecha-nical properties. Its low-loss characteristicsmakes it very suitable for applications up into themicrowave range.

AIRCOM PLUS® features a unique PE-honeycomb ex-pander which retains the correct impedance even whensharply bent.

The expander provides a tight seal around the solid centerconductor which is made from oxygen free copper, thusensuring it is protected against moisture and corrosion.

Another feature of AIRCOM PLUS® is its double shieldingwhich is constructed of overlapping copperfoil plus an addi-tional tightly woven copperbraid resulting in a screeningefficiency > 85 dB@1 GHz.

The copperfoil has an applied PE-coating which preventsfoil cracking due to short radius bends and the black PVC-sheath of AIRCOM PLUS® is UV-stabilized.

AIRCELL®7 is a super flexible coaxialcable designed for frequencies up to 6 GHz.At a diameter of just 7,3 mm ( (0.287” OD)and a minimum bending radius of just 25 mm,it offers relatively low loss.

The low attenuation of AIRCELL®7 is achievedthrough advanced manufacturing techniques and theuse of a PE-LLC dielectric with a foaming rate of morethan 70%.

The extreme flexibility of AIRCELL®7 is further enhancedthrough the use of a multi-stranded oxygen-free center con-ductor. Further advantages of this cable include the use ofdouble shielding which is constructed of overlapping copper-foil plus an additional tightly woven copperbraid. The copper-foil has an applied PE-coating which prevents foil cracking dueto short radius bends and the black PVC-sheath of AIRCELL®7is uv-stabilized.

A screening efficiency of > 85 dB@1GHz is realized.

Low loss coaxial cable for radio communications

ECOFLEX 10 is a flexible, low-losscoaxial cable specifically designed foruse up to 6 GHz.

Advanced manufacturing techniques combinedwith the use of a low-loss PE-LLC Dielectric yieldsa foaming rate of more than 70%. This results invery low attenuation. ECOFLEX 10 sets a new stan-dard among flexible coaxial cables.

The flexibility of ECOFLEX 10 is further enhanced throughthe use of a stranded, oxygen-free copper center conductor.

Use of proprietary techniques, continuous center conductorcalibration and compression as well as the application of aprecoating results in low losses and good impedance match-ing.Further advantages of the cable include the use of doubleshielding which is constructed of overlapping copperfoil plusan additional tight woven copper braid. ECOFLEX 15 is a flexible low-losscoaxial cable for use in the frequencyrange of DC - 6 GHz.

Its unique construction combines the low lossproperties found in non-flexible solid centerconductor hardline cables with the high flexibilityof cables manufactured with stranded center con-ductors.

Advanced manufacturing techniques combined with theuse of a PE-LLC Dielectric yields a foaming rate of morethan 70%, resulting in very low attenuation.

The use of continuous center conductor calibration andcompression as well as the application of a precoating gua-rantees low losses and stable impedance matching.

An EMI screening immunity of > 90 dB at 1.0 GHz is achie-ved through the use of double shielding which consists ofoverlapping copper foil and an additional tight woven cop-perbraid. The copperfoil has an applied PE coating whichprevents foil cracking due to short radius bends.The black PVC sheath of ECOFLEX 15 is uv-stabilized.
