Rectangular air volume controller RWPA
Rectangular air volume controller RWPA enables automatic airflow con-trol. RWPA is suitable for use in systems with variable air volume VAV andin other cases, where constant air flow is required. Regulator can work in
connection with other automatic control devices e.g. quality-quantity tem-perature control systems.

Operative principle
Scheme, operative principle
Signal from measurement elements is converted by dif-ferential pressure converter onto electric signal and thentransmitted to regulator. Regulator controls damper actu-ator accordingly to the result of set and measured valuecomparison. Standarly RWPA controller is equippedwith compact actuator N(L)MV-D2-MP manufacturedby Belimo. Other automatic solutions are available on
request. Controller has limiting flow value VGR presetby manufacturer.
Operating range of controller can be changed by usingBelimo-Tool software. It is possible to set maximumVmax and minimum Vmin regulated flow value. Noneof these values can exceed limiting flow value VGR.

(*) Other settings of VGR value on request. If the velocity of air in box is under 2m/s, there might be inaccuracy of regu-lation up to 20%.Vmax corresponds to air going through the VAV box with velocity of 12 m/s.Vmin corresponds to air going through the VAV box with velocity of 2 m/s.

Depending on how W switch is set, air volume controller maintains constant airflow according to the given Vmax andVmin values.
Constant change of airflow within the range from Vmin to Vmax, depends on reference signal coming from room tem-perature controller.

Sound power level at outlet
Acoustic data
Following tables show sound power levels [dB] in octave bands and sound power levels LWA [dB(A)] for various airvelocities and pressure drops over device. For controllers which width B is other than 500 mm, read data must be cor-rected by L factor. Total sound power level can be calculated using following formula:
