Inspection and Maintenance Schedule:For inspection and maintenance of airsuspension system following checks should bedone at maintenance depots:-

Visually check the condition of air spring rubberbellows for any external damages, air leakageand infringement of any fittings .

  • Drain the 150 litre air reservoir of air suspensionsystem and check its safety straps for tightness.Check the air leakage from adjoining pipe line.

Drain the 40 litre air reservoirs of air suspensionsystem and check their safety straps fortightness. Check the air leakage from adjoiningpipe line.p p

Check the position of coach and bogie isolatingcocks, these should be in open position andbracket for handle should be intact .

Check the installationlever, tightening ofinstallation lever nutsand protection screennuts.

  • Operating Instructions:1. Train driver should maintain 7 Kg/cm2

pressure from the compressor.2. In case of heavy leakage of air from any bogie or GOVERNMENT OF INDIA GOVERNMENT OF INDIA y g y g

Visually check the leaky / failed spring bythe position of horizontal lever.

Visually check the leakage area of the airi d t k ti f ll
