Aktobe is a capital of West Kazakhstan. It is one of the largest industrial, business and cultural centers of the country. It was founded in 1869. The word “Aktobe” means “ak” – white, “tobe” – hill. Aktobe Province is located in Western Kazakhstan, and is the second largest province by area in Kazakhstan. The city of Aktobe is located where the Kargala and Ilek rivers meet. This town has many things to offer. Many beautiful parks, clubs, big shopping malls, where you can rest and enjoy skating, watching films wait for you.
