Topic Essential Question (to guide the
research & product) Product Plan & Budget Ideas for Presentation
Paper DOE Guidelines are 1500 to 2000
words The complex ideas we are encouraging
will require a longer paper. It’s not about how long, it’s about how well the ideas are explained.
3 drafts required Submitted through Turnitin.com MLA format with citations Plagiarism on the final draft will have
dire consequences
Product A tangible activity that is a
logical culmination of the research

Grade will be determined by “dress rehearsal” at an in-class presentation

Timeline Proposals: approval should come by the end

2nd quarter Products should begin during 2nd quarter Products must be finished by mid-3rd quarter Portfolios will be finalized AND Presentations at the end of 3rd quarter 4th quarter will be spent with literature and
