Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) schools prepare students in grades 9-12 to be college and career ready.
CTECS students can earn their high school diploma, college credit, career credential and income – all at the same time.
CTECS graduates are ready for immediate employment, apprenticeship programs, and admission to college.
The CTECS schools are available for students entering grade 9. Hartford and non-Hartford residents apply to A.I. Prince, E.C. Goodwin, or Howell Cheney online at ChoiceEducation.org.
Applicants apply to all three (3) technical high schools as a region and rank them in the order of preference.
