AHS Citrix Remote Access Client Install on MAC OS

Atlantic Health System has implemented new functionality for remote access to your Citrix Portal Applications. This new solution was created for ‘Remote’ access only. It can be used on Atlantic and non-Atlantic devices. This document provides information about how to use Citrix Receiver to access AHS Citrix Apps. Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is required to access Citrix from an external location. If you have not already enrolled in MFA, you must register first. Instructions can be found here > MFA will prompt you to authenticate each time.

1. Open Safari and enter the following URL. https://www.citrix.com The main page will appear as shown below.

2. Should MAC OS be older base on the about information you can download the support version in the table below then so to steps 5 to install.

3. Click “Downloads” then on the next page Click “Citrix Workspace App” as shown

below.

4. On the next page Click “Citrix Workspace app 1910.2 for Mac” then on following page Click

“Download Citrix Workspace app for Mac” as shown the images below.

5. Click on the down arrow, then double click “CitrixWorkspaceApp.dmg” download in

order to launch the installer as shown below.

6. Double Click on the “Install Citrix Workspace” icon highlighted as shown below.

7. The following window will open; click continue on “1” then “2” as shown

8. The next four (4) windows require you to click continue, then continue, then agree,

then install.

9. After clicking “Install” a window pops up requesting password. Enter password and

click “Install Software” as shown below.

10. After installation is completed check “Add Account” and then click “Continue” as

shown below.

11. On the next window click “Close”

12. Click “Move to Trash” on the next window.

13. On the next window type https://apps.atlantichealth.org then click “Add” as shown

below.

14. The next window will appear, requesting your “User name” and “Password” then click

logon as shown below.

*Base on MFA configuration you will either get a notification or a phone call

Note: This is your current AHS Domain user name and password, which is the same as your

Windows login.

15. On the next window, Click the Desktops icon at the top then the Desktop assigned as

show below.
