EDLS is a service and leadership program that spans all grades,

providing hands-on experiences in service and philanthropy. Through

EDLS, we work with students to help them identify those areas of public

service they wish to have as part of their lives on a long-term basis. In grades 11 and 12, the girls have

community placements and integrate their service projects back into the classroom. Each senior culminates

her AGS experience with a capstone project of her own design and presents

her work to the school community.

Students enjoy further opportunities to learn through required travel

experiences tied to global service and the curriculum. In addition, AGS offers meaningful and authentic internships

across Atlanta, in every setting imaginable—from the emergency

room at Grady Hospital to the Woodruff Arts Center.
