FRESH GINGER PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY IN NORTH EAST
• NIIST have set up commercial ventures in North East states of Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim for processing of Ginger, Turmeric and Green Cardamom
• Technology transfered to Mizoram & Arunachal Pradesh to set up commercial units
• Ensured remunerative return to the rural farmers
A New Venture to cater 7.5 TPD ginger is under implementation at Wayanad, Kerala
