Server ID

Server ID will be 12 bit alphanumeric code. (00:30:6E:24:7C:92)The Server ID is the MAC Address of the eth0 device (first Ethernet device).

Please Run following command /sbin/ifconfig eth0

The Server ID will be the value listed next to the tag HWaddr.

GUI

AnXplorer can be invoked by typing the following command at the UNIX command prompt.

% anxplorer_gui &

This command brings up the main GUI window of AnXplorer.

The window consists of a menu bar at the top, followed by a tool bar containing buttons toperform the most common tasks. The main work area consists of a set of tabs.

Clicking on any of the tabs will bring up the corresponding page of the GUI.There are seven tabs. The first five are used for setting up the inputs to AnXplorer.

Installation

The installation instructions are the same for both the RHEL 5 (ago-2012.10.tar.gz)and the RHEL 4 (ago-rhel4-2012.10.tar.gz).

Installation process for RHEL 5 package

Once the package ago-2012.10.tar.gz is downloaded, unpack the package. $ tar -zxf ago-2012.10.tar.gzThis will create a directory AgO.2012.10

In this directory, edit the file setup.csh to change the values of two variables:AGO_ROOT and AGO_LICENSE_FILE

AGO_ROOT should point to the path of the AgO.2012.10 directory, and AGO_LICENSE_FILEshould point to the path of the license file that you have received.Once editing is done, please source this file in a tcsh or csh shell.Next step run the script AgO.2012.10/install.csh This will complete the installation.

Installation

Cadence Users

Please edit the .cdsinit file

Include following line in .cdsinit file in your Cadence work space directory where the cds.lib file resides.

load "/path/to/your/installation/AgO.2012.10/src/gui/skill/anxplorer.il"Here /path/to/your/installation refers to the location of the AgO.2012.10 directory

Important note

Please do not rename or move the AgO.2012.10 directory.Run the install.csh script again, in case AgO.2012.10 is moved or renamed.
