The financial accounts of the National Council of YMCAs of Ireland Ltd & the Republic of Ireland YMCA Trust have been audited by JLG according to SORP 2005 guidelines

Pleased to report a sound financial progress NI

Our NI Depts each recorded small surpluses M&SS 16K Community Relations 3K Greenhill before depreciation cost 29K These amounts have been added to our reserves which are

within our policy limits of 3 to 6 months operational costs Republic

Excellent budgetary control has ensured a small surplus 7K which has been added to our reserves

Slow but steady progress building up local funding.

There has been steady progress towards meeting our reserves policy target of 3-6 months operational costs.

Presently we hold approximately 5 months operational cost in reserves

Changes to core funding through YCNI pose a major threat to National Council’s stability

£2.1m has been secured towards Capital Development of Greenhill

Significant cut backs in Republic public expenditure
