Speedy 3PL set-up helps electronics company reduce costsAgility Algeria played a major role in transforming the logistics operations of a major electronics company that wanted to set up its own 3PL operations in Algeria. The customer was running a greenfield operation and under extreme pressure to set up the new operation quickly to minimize daily sales losses. Agility met the customer’s tight timeline by selecting a 14,500-sqm facility strategically located near the capital city, and procuring all the necessary equipment, tools and systems to set up a world-class warehouse management system. A full team of operations staff was recruited and assembled to manage the facility, ultimately delivering up to 35 trucks per day to 20 distributors throughout Algeria.

Enabling a more efficient supply chain through in-house customs brokerageA leading provider of products and services to the oil and gas industry had been managing a complex network of inbound and outbound shipments from various ports, airports and land points in Algeria and globally. Agility was appointed to improve the supply chain and manage it more efficiently. We teamed up with a reputable local customs broker in the First Energy town of Hassi Messaoud and established an in-house office at the broker’s facility. This enabled us to oversee all operations and serve the customer with an unmatched flexibility, reliable follow-up, and reduced cycle times. Our close partnership with the local customs broker led to superior information flow, which met the customer’s objective for a more efficient supply chain.
