Program Objectives: If you use agile practices in your projects, or your organization is adopting agile approaches to project management, the PMI-ACPSM certification may be right for you. The PMI-ACPSM recognizes knowledge of agile principles, practices and tools and techniques across agile methodologies. The use of agile as an approach to managing projects has been increasing dramatically over the last several years. Gartner predicts that by the end of 2012, agile development methods will be used on 80% of all software development projects. PMI’s research has shown that the use of agile has tripled from December 2008 to May 2011. Furthermore, research demonstrates the value that agile can have in decreasing product defects, improving team productivity, and increasing delivery of business value. The PMI-ACPSM is positioned to recognize and validate knowledge of this important approach. Upon completing this course, the candidates will be able to demonstrate the difference between the traditional project management approach and the agile management approach. Eng. Ahmed Taha Eng. Ahmed Taha, M.Sc, MBA, PMP, PMI-RMP, ITIL,PMOC has more than 16 years of experience in project management in Information Technology field and has 6 years of experience in teaching project management and risk management related courses. Eng. Ahmed Taha provided more than 76 course (2400 Hours) including Project Management, Risk management, Earned Value management, OPM3 in Egypt and outside Egypt. He is a volunteer with PMI MENA Chapter since 2008 and currently he is a board member of PMI MENA Chapter and the Program Director of the Chapter; he is the PMIEF Liaison with PMI MENA Chapter since April 2012. He was a speaker in Hind-in-Hand 2012 event organized by PMI MENA Chapter; he talked about how to use the project management to enhance the performance of the NGOs. In 1996 Eng. Ahmed Taha graduated from Ain shams university, Faculty of Engineering, Communication and Electronics dept. In 1997 he awarded a diploma in software development from Information technology Institute, in May 2000 he had a master degree in network management using artificial intelligence. In 2006 he awarded PMP certificate; in 2010 he awarded risk management professional certificate and project management office certificate. In 2008 Eng. Ahmed Taha awarded his MBA degree specialized in International Business, from Ecole Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquéesis (ESLSCA Group), France. Eng.
