ABOUT THE PROGAM

1. MarketSavvy• The Intention of MarketSavvy is to create a forum for participants to get a

real world feel for how to follow the Financial Markets. It is meant to be complementary to the theory learned through school by giving a more practical and Market focused approach to understanding the Global Financial universe.

• The focus here will be on the US financial markets which will act as a ‘global currency’ for any career in finance participants intend to pursue.

INTRO TO MARKETSAVVY : PROGRAM LAUNCHFINANCIAL SYSTEM OVERVIEW

AGENDA:In the intro session we spend the majority of the time outlining the core industries

of the US financial markets. We focus on Sectors, Players and key market functions to give participants a birds-eye-view of all that is going on in the system. Many of the industries covered can be found in the agenda for Topic 1.
