Second Hand FairSecond Hand Fair
• Organised by students for students
‘Bring what you don’t need, Buy what you do – Come and look for a bargain!!!’
Why a Second Hand Fair?
• Low costs > High Profit
• Cheap entry fees for buyers and raise money from stall holders ‘rent’
• Previous successful event held at City Campus
• Take advantage of the many adverts placed around the university by students selling unwanted belongings.
• Opportunity for further income from selling smoothies
• Aimed at all students but specifically ‘freshers’
S.M.A.R.T• Specific – Our main event objective is to raise £500 using a £200
budget
• Measurable – At the end of the event we will total our takings, minus our costs and calculate profit and whether we have reached our target
• Agreeable - Our goal has been agreed according to budgets and income source
• Realistic – The event will be held in Southside within the University and university tables will be borrowed to use for stalls.
• Time – The event will open at 10am and close at 5pm
