Aim of the meeting :
The P2P Programme intends to offer to civil society organisations from the
beneficiaries, among them also Kosovo, the possibility to familiarise themselves with
EU structures, policy making process, programmes, policies and best practices.
This seminar shall enhance the capacity of civil society organisations engaged in
youth, education, and sport activities in Kosovo.
More specifically, it shall present the possible EU programmes at the area of youth,
sport, culture and education.
It further intends to strengthen networking of CS organisations in Kosovo.
Nongovernmental organizations and other civil society actors shall learn how to
engage with national and international organisms to implement various youth
programmes at country level,
make outreach to remote areas and populations possible,
advocate issues relating to youth, education, employment, sport to a broad
audience.
Around 40 participants from civil society organisations in Kosovo will attend the
conference.
Some representatives of public authorities shall also take part at the event.

Presentation of the Youth in Action Programme (objectives, priorities
and Actions open for the Neighbouring partner Countries incl.
Kosovo) and practical examples of its implementation;
Statistical and analytical overview on the use of the Youth in Action
Programme in Kosovo up to now;
Specific workshops on different Actions of the Programme open for
the Neighbouring Partner Countries (European Voluntary Service,
Youth Exchanges and Training and Networking Activities), during
which the participants have an opportunity to find links of how the
Programme could be integrated into their work;
Information about the support available in the frame of the Youth in
Action Programme in Kosovo, in particular by the SALTO South
East Europe Resource Centre;
Possibilities for support to participants after this event: support in
preparing project applications for Youth in Action projects
(possibilities for consultation), other possibilities for participation in
and learning more about the Programme.
