ARTIST ROSTER 2015 & 2016 Dear promoter, festival programmer, colleague. You have in front of you the artist roster of Agency Ambos Mundos for 2015 and 2016. Agency Ambos Mundos is an international bookings agency and artist management office based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and recently opened office in Belgium. We are specialized in music from Latin America and the Caribbean. In the past we worked with artists such as Petrona Martinez, Marta Gomez, Inti Illimani, Eva Ayllon and Choc Quib Town. We are co-presenting the Tribu Baharu showcase for the 2014 edition of WOMEX in Santiago de Compostela.

COLOMBIA TRIBU BAHARU (Colombia) Afro Colombian Champeta & Soukous It's been denigrated and damned, boycotted and banned, but it can never be stopped: champeta, the ever evolving, high-‐energy hybrid of Colombian, African and Afro-‐Caribbean styles just keeps on coming. And leading a new charge are Tribu Baharú, from Bogotá, championing their version of champeta, inspired by the legendary, Pico sound-‐systems of Columbia's Caribbean coast, but here played all-‐live-‐onstage with sparkling Congolese guitar driven by high-‐speed bass and drums and the all-‐animating upfront singers. MONSIEUR PERINÉ (Bogota, Colombia) Manouche Swing & Latin Alternative Monsieur Perine hailing from Bogota is taking Manouche Jazz, Circus Swing and Latin-‐Alternative to another level. In March 2013 their European debut album was released and a first tour with over 30 pan -‐European dates was a fact. In the summer of 2014 they toured again extensively Europe. They are at ease at Pop, Jazz, World Music and Theatre & Performing Art Festivals. GRUPO NICHE (Colombia) Tocando el Cielo Tour Niche is the most emblematic Colombian Salsa group of all times, with numerous number one hits in both Colombia as wel as among the Latin Communities worldwide. They toured 2013/14 bringing homage to the late founder Jairo Varela (who passed away in august 2012). KEVIN FLOREZ (Champeta Urbana/ Colombia) In just 16 months Kevin Florez managed to rise from a unknown local artist to national stardom in his native Colombia. Since the release of the single 'La Invite A Bailar' in 2013 Kevin Florez has realized countless collaborations with national and intenational urban artist such as De La Ghetto, Farruko and Nikky Jam and had several national hits. CUMBIA CARIBE de Pedro 'El Dripe' Tapias (Colombia) From the Capital of the Caribbean coast and the Capital of Colombian Carnaval comes Cumbia Caribe. A party outfit that is known for pumpin' up any party in the coastal regions of Colombia. Led by percusionist Pedro 'El Dripe Tapias' they won allmost every possible price at the annual Carnaval De Barranquilla. Cumbia Caribe has also a special programm called "Carnavales de Mi Colombia"* Covering all Tradional musical styles, a live band, several vocalist and a group of Dancers. ANIBAL VELAZQUEZ (Colombia) Master accordionist Anibal Velasquez's remarkable career spans more than six decades during which time he has made more than 300 albums. Born in 1936 to a musical family in the port-‐city of Barranquilla, he made his first recordings in 1952. He went on to become an in-‐demand session player before forming a band with his two brothers in 1960, whose experimental incorporations of regional styles and Cuban influences .But by the 1970s, the drug cartels and related violence forced Anibal to move to Caracas where he continued his prolific output for 18 years. Now back in Barranquilla he's enjoying his rightful status as one of the few living legends of Colombia's glorious musical pas.

YAN COLLAZO (Puerto Rico) Yan Collazo hails from Puerto Rico, but made a strong artistical move by joining first Colombian super band Guayacan Orquesta which gained him numerous fans, to later move on to the legendary Grupo Niche. He is now since a couple of years working hard on a solo career. His first release was 'Homenaje A Mi Idolo' dedicaded to the late Tito Gomez.
