A New Year’s resolution is a tradition, in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement starting on New Year’s Day.   

There was a study done in 2007 by Richard Wiseman from the University of Bristol, involving 3000 people.  88% of people who set resolutions fail. Only 52% of people who set resolutions are confident they will stick it out.

The body gets involved when we act.

We consciously eat only healthy foods and snacks.

We listen carefully to what is being said, as well as what is not said and where the speaker is “coming from”.

We strive to improve the speed, quality, accuracy, reliability and any other factors that add to the excellence of our work.

We educate ourselves about the best practices for money management and follow those practices religiously.

Spirit Means Having Faith

We do not get depressed when we don’t lose 10 pounds after a week of eating healthy.

We don’t stop listening carefully because of a miscommunication.

We continue to strive for excellence in our work even though co-workers tell us we don’t have to do all of that.

We continue to manage money wisely even when it doesn’t look like much is changing.

•Print on 3 x 5 Cards

•Read several times daily

•Allow yourself to act on the affirmations.

•Expect to look and feel decades younger than your chronological age.

stress and increase your joy of living.

I Read My Affirmations Daily

Repetition imprints on the subconscious mind.

You will not need willpower

Your results will begin to appear automatically

I Eat 4-6 Small Meals Daily

A meal is a handful of protein and a handful of carbohydrates.

Eat every two or three hours.

Eat more frequently, not more food.

No limit on vegetables

Do not allow yourself to get hungry.

I dance at least three times per week!

Zumba exercise counts.

The idea is fun

Better if with others but not a requirement

Try dancing for at least 15 minutes – longer is better
